yesterday I visited Meyerwerft shipyard again and my main interest was the growing of brand new Disney Dream. And she is growing fast.
As usual the light conditions were not the best and taking photos through through a glass wall is not optimal. Anyhow there might be some interesting photos for you. Since many of you are interested in details I decided to present the pictures a bit larger than usual. By the way the ship in front of the Disney Dream is Celebrety Silhouette which will be finished in spring 2011.
Besides this I got the information that Disney Dream will leave the shipyard building at the end of October. Only two weeks later she will depart to Eemshaven in the Netherlands where the final works will be done. Before the middle of December she will be handed over to Disney Cruises and will go to Miami immediately.
As you know I am interested in presenting interior photos. For this reason I will contact Disney Cruises in the coming weeks to get permission for taking photos maybe in December at Eemshaven. If anybody has any idea how to proceed in the best way or good relation to Disney Cruises please let me know.

Disney Dream photos

The two night Inaugural Voyage of Celebrity Eclipse was an amazing event. Last year I got an very positive impression of Celebrity Equinox. This impression was even increased aboard the Eclipse.
And I can prove it with about 900 real photos well categorized in cabin classes an the different decks of the Eclipse. Look here !
I am sure anybody who is booked in the ship will be satisfied.

It's an honour for me to present photos from brand new Celebrity Eclipse outside the shipyard hall. In the very early sunday morning (the weather was better than expected) the new cruise ship from Meyerwerft was floated out. Although it looks very very similar to her sisters Solstice and Equinox it was worth to get up so early in the morning. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy the photos and maybe in coming days I produce some more photos at daylight and at night. It will depend on the weather and light conditions.

Today at 1.00pm AIDAblu left the Papenburg. She is on her first trip to Emden where she will be finished and tested in the North Sea. Of course there are some new photos in the photo gallery.
